Questions!

I've been working on my list of questions for my interview next week. So far, this is what I've come up with:

Is your computer network wireless and does it have any hot spots?

What automation system do you use and is it web based?

What are your server and computer specification?

Does your library support PDA’s and laptops?

How many patron workstations do you have?

Is your computer maintenance done in-house or contracted out?

Who (job title) is responsible for the technology and plan and budget for the library?

Do you have a web presence and who maintains that?

Does the library provide any social networking resources through its website such as blogs, wikis, IM reference services, or RSS feeds?

Do you provide any patron review services?

What is your budget for technology?

What is the speed of your Internet connection and who is your provider?

Does the library have any written technology policies?

How does the library deal with space constrictions and technology?

Is the furniture for technology appropriate and are there enough outlets (electrical and network)?

What works and what doesn’t work in your technology program?

I'll keep adding and revising until interview time.
